Branding the Monterey Bay Region to the Global Marketplace

The Monterey Bay International Trade Association (MBITA) has organized this October 30th event under the leadership of Congressman Farr to bring the entire Monterey Bay region together in a collaborative effort to promote our region in the global marketplace. The event is produced by TradePort, MBITA and sponsored by UCSC, the Monterey County Business Council, PinPoint China, Umpqua Bank and Joint Venture Monterey and the Santa Cruz County Business Council.

Congressman Sam Farr will lead a group of Monterey Bay region business leaders with presentations and interactive discussions on how we can market the Monterey Bay region to the rest of the world so they too can experience the region’s uniqueness, beauty and ‘cutting-edge’ industries, in such industries as wine, specialty crops, sustainable agriculture, agro-technology, marine biology, IT, clean-tech and languages, not to mention its world renowned educational institutions.
